Job description

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solutions Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive Salesforce solutions. As a key member of our team, you will oversee architectural planning, ensure alignment with business goals, and provide technical guidance to deliver scalable and innovative Salesforce solutions. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, developers, and business units to meet complex business requirements and enhance the functionality of our Salesforce platform.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Architectural Design and Strategy

    • Design scalable and secure Salesforce architecture solutions that align with business goals

    • Define best practices and standards for Salesforce development and integration

    • Create technical roadmaps to support current and future business needs

  2. Solution Implementation and Development

    • Oversee the development and implementation of Salesforce features, ensuring high-quality deliverables

    • Guide developers on the use of Salesforce technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools

    • Ensure alignment with Salesforce best practices and company security policies

  3. Stakeholder Collaboration

    • Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solution

    • Present architectural designs and solutions to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment

    • Provide technical expertise to business teams during strategic decision-making processes

  4. Integration and Data Management

    • Lead the integration of Salesforce with third-party systems, leveraging tools such as REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft)

    • Ensure data integrity, security, and synchronization across integrated systems

  5. Governance and Performance

    • Establish governance practices to ensure compliance with Salesforce standards and business requirements

    • Monitor system performance and scalability, implementing improvements as needed

  6. Team Leadership and Mentorship

    • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Salesforce developers and administrators

    • Facilitate knowledge-sharing and upskilling of team members

    • Conduct code reviews and enforce adherence to coding standards and best practices

7. Pre-sales and Business Development

  • Support pre-sales activities, including client presentations, proposal development, and solution demonstrations

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to articulate the value proposition of Salesforce solutions clearly and persuasively

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to expand the Salesforce practice

 

8. Strategic Growth and Networking 

  • Build and nurture professional networks within the Salesforce community, attending industry events, webinars, and conferences

  • Stay informed about industry trends, Salesforce innovations, and competitive landscape to proactively shape practice growth

  • Develop strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance the company's Salesforce competencies and market reach

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Solutions Architect or similar role

  • Salesforce certifications, including Application Architect or System Architect (Certified Technical Architect is a plus)

  • Expertise in Salesforce architecture, data modelling, and development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components)

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder, etc.)

  • Experience with integrations and middleware tools like MuleSoft, Informatica, or similar

  • Solid understanding of enterprise architecture principles and design patterns

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in healthcare, insurance industries

  • Knowledge of Salesforce Health Cloud, or other industry-specific solutions

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills
